We love designing for an adventurous bride with a passion for travel. Capturing exotic locals in lush water color strokes, whimsical patterns and bold contrast… setting the stage for a jet-set affair. Weather the bride is traveling to the tropics for a ceremony with her feet in the sand or saying her “I do’s” in a historic London local, its all in the details. Today I’ve gathered some invites worthy of inspiring the wanderlust in us all!
Anna’s invite, done in washes of Mediterranean blue with bursts of gold, took inspirations from the tile work of Italy.
Here a softer palette of feminine florals and herbs framed with a stately patterned border are fitting for an Italian romance.
Loving this brides whimsical take on a travel invite. A muted color palette and vintage imagery take us away to a carefree state of mind.
Boldly sketched succulents in airy greens and blues adorned with a raffia wrap capture the wild beauty of a Costa Rican wedding.
I am forever in love with this Bird of Paradise design! Recreating it this time in an opaque palette wrapped in rustic burlap with a fun free form tag.
A warm breezy color palette sets the tone for Layla’s Grand Cayman wedding. Understated tropical with softly sketched details makes for an effortless elegance.
A flowing palm leaf pattern in dreamy ombre watercolors wash over the abstract Hawaiian landscape. Our classic paper bloom completes the look.
Lauren’s invite features a stately gilded frame around a postcard-esque Parisian scene.
A fun pop of pattern intermingles with a bold yet simple floral design. Buttery yellows with bits of blues and reds reminiscent of the Utah skyline.
This set was inspired by the awe inducing red rocks of Zion. Captured in saturated water color gradients with a grandness suitable to the landscape. A vista I never tire of 🙂
