It was an incredible honor to be included in the “How to Have a Winter Wedding” feature in the latest issue of The Knot Magazine! Alongside experts Christy Weber of Junebug Weddings, Peter Callahan and Annie Lee of Daughters of Design I offered up Wintery Wedding styling advice! I’ve pulled some of my favorite winter wedding invitation pieces to highlight excerpts from the story below… Enjoy!
“Winter weddings are all about comfort and texture – think cable knit, flannel, felt and sequins, Jazz up neutral winter palettes with fur, wood and quartz.” – In this suite we used sparkle as a focal point throughout using painterly silver brushstrokes.
“For a unique feel, incorporate interesting textiles and finishes into your paper…” – Vintage silver twine wrapped the presentation folder several times securing a quartz crystal bauble.
“Rice suggests customizing your stationery with a hand painted silhouette of a snowcapped mountain or even a floral motif.”
“Consider a wintery white poinsettia for a seasonal nod that won’t feel too holiday-esque.”
