Designing a bespoke, truly custom invitation is first and foremost a journey. Some days, designing can be called nothing other than an adventure, you know…the best kind of adventure that gets your heart racing and the blood pumping. After a day of adventuring, you are tired…but the best kind of tired you can imagine. You’ve used your brain and heart all day long to edge closer and closer to what your couple hopes most for in their stationery.
As with most Momental couples Paige and Thomas embarked on a journey with us that landed them with this lushly layered stationery statement full of carefully placed brushstrokes, detailed illustrations and exacting choices that each, in their own small way spoke volumes of this couple and the celebration they are crafting.
Paige wanted Deco, but not too masculine. Florals were important but just the perfect petal shape and brushstroke were needed to remind her of blooms she might want to receive from Thomas.
This couple identified strongly with a specific color palette but one that only hinted towards blush and focused its attention on carefully used whites, grays and sparkling textures of the same.
I always say that our invitations should feel like gifts to those who receive. How did we do here? Look closely…all the silver shading throughout is by hand with sheer, shimmery inks. The brushstroke we put to paper on each and every invitation leaves an unmistakable sense of hand.
