A Peek into the Studio – A varied palette

This time of the year is one of the most exciting in the studio.  We find ourselves working on some of the most varied color palettes of the year.  The mix of colors is a result of finishing up projects from everything like late fall invitations and accessories to early spring invitations and summer 2010 save the dates!

Melissa’s picasso calla lily invitations were a blast for Joy to paint – she didn’t want to stop.  Notice those gorgeously graceful paint strokes – they just dance on the page!  Devon’s berry inspired programs were a huge hit at the wedding as guests could not stop commenting on the rich combination of colors.  Jennifer’s save the date is fruity in color and delicious in style – take a look at what we are working on for her wedding invitation!  Last but not least are Jenna’s enchanting Vintage Stamped Tree wedding invitations featuring an oak, falling leaves painted in all shades fall and a tiny pumpkin peeking from the right.

So, what am I up to?  Creating samples galore, styling a tabletop photoshoot with some regional vendors whose work I adore and checking out some fab real wedding online:

Suspended succulents, sassy shoes, oh my lovliness at The Brides Cafe

Peacock bouquets, need I say more?

Stunning amber shades from the ladies at Southern Weddings.  As a side note they are hosting this fun contest and I am so thinking about my entry…hmmm
