My Story is Art – Art in Yellowstone

Edward Abby had some strong opinions about how we as humans interact with the natural world.  My best friend bought me a book of his poems years ago because she knows my passion for National Parks, especially Zion.  To this day I cannot step foot on National Park Land without Mr. Abby’s rough and rugged rhetoric filling my mind.

{“A man on foot, on horseback or on a bicycle will see more, feel more, enjoy more in one mile than the motorized tourists can in a hundred miles.”  ― Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire}

Last week myself and a crew of artistic/adventurous souls ventured out into the wild to make Art in Yellowtone…Well as wild as glamping canvas cabins under the stars with a potty nearby can get…

With the glamping community Yellowstone Under Canvas as our host, we spent two glorious days under the sun of West Yellowstone.  The wind chapped our skin and the sun burnt but we left feeling invigorated and a little bit wiser for the wear.

If you read here from time to time you likely know I’m writing a few books this year…so keep an eye out in mid 2016 for the results of this project!  Want to see more from our shoot in big sky country?  Check it out here!
