I created a suite of illustrations for Rosa’s day. Line drawings in brown ink of Stephonitis, Cabbage roses and Wax Flower were her choice. On each piece sheer pink shimmer ink was added by hand to give a pop of color. I love these pieces against the red roses – stunning. Their table numbers featured photos of their travels with a story of each destination Rosa and

How did your stationery play a role in your wedding?

“The stationery played one of the most important roles in our wedding. I was extremely concerned with the stationery being absolutely perfect! I think that stationery can really reflect style, theme, and tone and it was important for us to set that from the beginning. Although being detail oriented and worrying about the small things usually falls on the bride, all of our guests noticed the detail we put into the stationery. Because I created my invitations and save the dates before I found Momental Designs, guests already had a vision of what our wedding would be like. Then, with Kristy’s designs for my programs, table numbers, and menus, guests were blown away with the beauty and detail of our stationery and how everything came together.”

What was your inspiration for your colors and/or theme?

My inspiration for colors was to have a clean, crisp look with a pop of color. I love chocolate brown and teal, so they went perfectly together. Then, my flowers were hot pink which looked great against the other colors.

Tell us about the one thing you would not change about your wedding, and what is the one thing
you
would change if you could?

There are many things that I would not change about my wedding including my color scheme, the attire and of course the stationery! One thing that I would change would be to have more posed photographs with my mom and dad and my bridesmaids.

Who was your photographer and your florist?

Our photographers were amazing! Aimee Cooper and Riley Kimball from A + R Photography. Our flowers for the reception are just simple hot pink roses from Costco! My mom and a friend bought vases at Ikea for $1 each and did the flowers themselves. My bouquets were from Safeway.
