Real Wedding Friday – Kelley and Ben, 08.23.08 Part I

I loved working with Kelley and Ben, in fact this was one of my favorite weddings this year. We worked together to create a substantial collection of stationery pieces – everything from save the date itinerary booklets to day of timeline cards. The photos today are just from the rehearsal dinner held at the The Golf Club at Turner Hill in Ipswich, MA.

Kelley’s opted for Save the Date Booklets that gave her guests detailed info
regarding the event filled weekend celebration.

Ohh, the cupcakes, the flowers! I just adore the cupcake tower with mini flags,
very elegant with a hint of thoughtful whimsy. We created simple place cards for each guest. Hints of shimmering stock throughout the collection catches the light beautifully.

The evening sky captured here is so dramatic and the perfect backdrop
for such a spirited and romantic evening.

More stunning floral, and the gorgeous Golf Club.

In Kelley’s Words:

What was your inspiration for your colors and/or theme?

I chose non-gender specific colors, and therefore elected to stay away from any pastels. We both loved the unique green colored offered, and elected to offset that soft color with a medium raspberry and pearl white accent colors. This variety of colors really made a statement, as each was so unique yet complimentary.

What was the guest reaction to your stationery choices?

I really couldn’t get over how many compliments that I received regarding our wedding stationary items, especially the Save-the-date booklets. Guests were most impressed by how coordinated all of the items were, while each piece possessed a slightly different “tweak” to the master design. It kept them guessing from one event to the next, and they were actually looking forward to seeing what we had in store for them next.

Next week…the wedding and reception, invitations and more!
