A Peek into the Studio – Suzani Pattern, Poppies and Watercolor Stripes

I pulled two designs from the production table this week first for their wow color and attention grabbing textures.  Two very different approaches to color here, but both equally as impactful.

Melanie’s Poppy flower save the date incorporated her love of color and punchy Suzani inspired pattern.

Killer combination; delicate blooms and bold pattern…

After each was printed, delicate soft pink brushstrokes we added to each peony, against the bold orange cardstock.  So pretty.

Next we have Hanieh’s pieces all decked out in muted blush, lavender and champagne.

Hanieh loved stripes and watercolor so I created a new pattern featuring haphazard stripes in shades of lavender.

My newest floral watercolor was printed on champagne shimmer stock and then painted with thick strokes of blush and lavender, such a lovely play of textures.
