A Real Momental Wedding – Rustic Elegant Wedding on Style Me Pretty

That’s right, TWO Real Momental Weddings this week!  We’ve been dying to share this simply lovely wedding for ages.  Heidi Ryder is the photographer behind the masterful images you are about to see!  Karlee and Daniel pulled together an exquisite celebration centered around the delicate color palette of their Vintage Lacy Tree Wedding Invitations!  Read on to hear from the Bride herself:

How did your stationery play a role in your wedding?
Our stationery was the first concrete thing we had for the wedding. It allowed us to see the color combination we chose and gave us an inspiration for the rest of the wedding. The color palette we chose on our invitations filtered through everything else we did on the day. We even commissioned Momental to make our accessories for the reception including table numbers and place cards which gave our wedding a
sense of continuity from start to finish.

What was your inspiration for your colors and/or theme?
We decided to get married in San Juan Capistrano, CA which is known for the annual migration of the swallows so we wanted to include swallows on the invitation.  In addition, we had decided to get married in a garden so wanted to incorporate colors that were there. Light green, light pink, and cream/champagne. It was the perfect color palette for the day. The flowers we used on our lacy tree invitation were the same colors as the flowers I had in my bouquet.

Tell us about the one thing you would not change about your wedding, and what is the one thing you would change if you could?
I would not change the intimacy of the day. We had both our ceremony and reception in small, cozy venues. Only our closest family and friends joined us.  I am usually uncomfortable in front of groups of people but felt completely at ease on our wedding day.

I wish I had not stressed so much about the wedding in the months and days leading up to it. I wish I had taken a deep breath and enjoyed the planning a little but more.

Thank you so much Karlee for being such a dream to work with!  XO
