I’m digging into the archives today with this one. These images have been waiting patiently for some attention and today is the day! Melissa was a dream – super creative with a strong aesthetic. She was incredibly committed to her vision all the way through and it shows in every single image. Second guessing decisions was never this Bride’s trait. Melissa and Matt’s classic and romantic affair at Beaulieu Garden in Napa Valley is quite the breath of fresh air. They returned to classic styling but with a bold palette and feisty spirit.
All things begin with the invitation and for Melissa it was all about hand painted swirls.
The Bridal party – can’t you tell this bunch is full of fun?
This is the shot every Bride dreams of I think… full of the moment.
Melissa and Matt’s Seating Plan. This piece was all about contrasting the lavishly painted swirls with structure and symmetry.
Beaulieu Garden is an iconic property and on this day was full of light and verdant energy. I’m in love with this urn overflowing with hydrangeas, roses, peonies and variegated green leafy moments. Petal fan programs were tied with deep crimson satin and finished with a rhinestone buckle.
The tables….oh the tables. Melissa worked closely with the planner to perfect this design.
Each table was blanketed with most with a custom linen billowing underneath.
Melissa was just as obsessed with stationery as we are….can’t you tell?
At dusk…
